Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Filipe Martins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Shannigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shannigan has chosen Slaughtered - Pantera as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martins takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Martins slips a jab and a cross from Shannigan.
Shannigan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shannigan tries to clinch up but Martins circles away and keeps his distance.

Shannigan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Shannigan cracks Martins with an uppercut from hell and Martins crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Shannigan's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Shannigan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Shannigan wants to pass the guard but Martins is keeping the position.

Martins working for a triangle but Shannigan defends it easily.
Shannigan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Martins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Shannigan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Martins working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shannigan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shannigan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Despite being in the dominant position, Tommy Shannigan just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Shannigan throws a lazy right hand but Martins sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Shannigan bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Martins! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like Filipe Martins has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Martins throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Shannigan escapes and throws Martins's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Martins was out before he hit the floor!
