hansen has managed to clinch.

hansen has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Maia clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Maia turns into hansen and is now in his guard.
Maia wants to control from the top but hansen keeps moving.
Maia advances to half guard.
Maia wants to free his trapped foot but hansen is holding on for dear life with his legs.
hansen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Maia performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Maia is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. hansen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Maia.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
hansen works his way to full guard. Good work.

hansen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Maia is stalling in the full guard.

Maia drops back looking for a leg! hansen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and hansen manages to kick Maia off! Maia jumps back into hansen's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
hansen can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Maia controls the pace.

Maia is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! hansen is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
