Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Smiff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smiff's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, New born. Danny Hendricks acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Hendricks!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendricks closes this distance looking for a takedown but Smiff circles away.
Hendricks wants to clinch up but Smiff keeps it at a distance.
Smiff throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Smiff clinches with his opponent.
Hendricks is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Smiff is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Smiff displaying some good clinch control by pressing Hendricks up against the ropes.
Hendricks jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Smiff walks away with a smile on his face. Hendricks gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Tony Smiff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Hendricks.
Hendricks shoots in looking for a takedown. Smiff tries to sprawl out of it but Hendricks keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Smiff manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Horrible takedown by Hendricks or perhaps it was just good defense by Smiff which made him look bad.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Smiff manages to reverse the position and now he's in Hendricks's guard. Nice work there by Smiff.

Smiff gets to his feet. Hendricks looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Smiff throws and low kick but Hendricks moves out of range easily.

Hendricks changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Smiff looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Hendricks throws a strike aimed at the side of Smiff's head but Smiff avoids it well.

Hendricks stands up and beckons Smiff to his feet.

Hendricks throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Smiff was covering up waiting for the punch and Hendricks finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hendricks looking to sit in guard and control but Smiff gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Hendricks is working an open guard so Smiff takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Despite being in the dominant position, Danny Hendricks just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
