Stafford comes to the cage accompanied by Sherman's too sexy. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Artem Grafonov enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stafford misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Stafford slips a jab and a cross from Grafonov.
Stafford closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Stafford is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Grafonov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Grafonov tries to improve position but can't.
Grafonov can't do much from the bottom here.
Stafford wants to lay and pray for a moment but Grafonov keeps working.
Stafford working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Grafonov wants to get back to his feet but Stafford drags him back down.
Grafonov tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Stafford moves into full mount!

Stafford is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Grafonov is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Grafonov flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Stafford anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Grafonov and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Stafford slips an arm under Grafonov chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Stafford has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Stafford is squeezing on Grafonov like an anaconda would it's prey. Grafonov fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sherman Stafford!
