Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shinwi Bolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bolo comes to the cage accompanied by Let's go!. Rogers has chosen Ready or Not - Fugees as his entrance music. Shinwi Bolo has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shinwi Bolo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fedor Rogers!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers misses with a looping right.
Bolo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rogers sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bolo somewhat.
Bolo moves out of range as Rogers strikes.
Rogers throws a hook but Bolo avoids it easily.
Rogers dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Nice takedown defense from Rogers. No joy for Bolo on that attempt.

Rogers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rogers lands a slapping body shot.

Rogers throws a right hand that Bolo ducks under and follows up with a left that Bolo also avoids with ease.

and Rogers counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Rogers takes a swing at Bolo's ribcage but misses.
Rogers thows a body shot but no joy.

Rogers pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Fedor Rogers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bolo slips a jab and a cross from Rogers.
Bolo needs to keep his hands up - Rogers had a free shot at his head there.
Rogers uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bolo has time to react.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rogers lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rogers.

Bolo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Bolo is putting a hurting on Rogers here, landing some big shots from side control.
Bolo is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Rogers's shoulder. That is not cool.
Rogers wants to get back to his feet but Bolo drags him back down.
Rogers can't do much from the bottom here.

Bolo is trying to get an arm triangle but Rogers is defending well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rogers is pushing Bolo's head away, looking to escape. Bolo manages to hold on to the position though.

That's time! Bolo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Bolo tries to clinch but Rogers is having none of it.
Rogers scores with a hook to the body. Bolo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Rogers is concentrating on defense, preventing Bolo from advancing position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bolo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rogers sees it coming and defends easily.

Bolo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rogers makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Bolo is really struggling to control Rogers but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Rogers wants to stand but Bolo is controlling the position.
Rogers utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bolo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bolo won't allow Rogers to sweep him here.

Bolo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rogers dives on top into guard.

Rogers trying to control the position from guard on top but Bolo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bolo looking for a sweep. Not yet Bolo, not yet.
Bolo doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Bolo wants to sweep here but Rogers controlling him for the moment.
Rogers wants to get up but he can't break Bolo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Rogers is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bolo.
Shinwi Bolo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bolo misses with a takedown attempt - Rogers sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rogers connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

and Bolo counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rogers!
Rogers holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Bolo tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Bolo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rogers is looking to escape.

Bolo is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Rogers can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Bolo unloads with some shots from mount but Rogers bucks and avoids them well.
Bolo throwing strikes but Rogers bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top.
Bolo wants to control from the top but Rogers keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Fedor Rogers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rogers throws out a loose jab but Bolo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bolo is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rogers.

and Bolo counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Bolo trying to control the position from guard on top but Rogers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bolo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bolo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Rogers wants to sweep here but Bolo controlling him for the moment.
Bolo loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Bolo has gone for a leg lock! Rogers slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bolo's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

I would just about give that final round to Fedor Rogers.
I think Rogers has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
