Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Costanza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Dwyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Costanza's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Seinfeld. Michael Dwyer will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costanza throws a series of punches but Dwyer moves out of range.
Costanza misses with a jab, cross combination.
Costanza moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Dwyer tries for a takedown but Costanza sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Dwyer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Costanza pushes Dwyer off and scrambles back to his feet.
Costanza throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dwyer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Dwyer gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Costanza regains guard.
Dwyer won't allow Costanza to sweep him here.
Costanza might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Dwyer fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Costanza, pushing him back against the cage.

Dwyer throws a nice looking combination but Costanza bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Costanza changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Costanza lands a nice hook to Dwyer's body. Dwyer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dwyer has a takedown stuffed.
Costanza tries to bum rush Dwyer with a series of wild strikes but Dwyer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Dwyer rushes Costanza and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Costanza could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Dwyer jumps guard but Costanza stands there with Dwyer around his waist. Dwyer gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Dwyer manages to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dwyer uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Dwyer gets the takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Dwyer decides to stand back up.
Dwyer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dwyer has a takedown stuffed.
No joy there for Dwyer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Costanza shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dwyer's guard.
Dwyer not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Costanza decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Costanza throws a head kick but Dwyer moves out of range.
Costanza keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Costanza scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Costanza stands up and beckons Dwyer to his feet.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dwyer.
Costanza avoids the head kick by Dwyer.
Dwyer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Costanza circles away.
George Costanza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dwyer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Dwyer fails to land with a series of punches.
Costanza lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Dwyer sprawling to the canvas. Costanza follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Dwyer hang on?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Costanza lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Dwyer quite badly. Dwyer pulls Costanza in close trying to recover. Costanza postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Dwyer on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Dwyer doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). George Costanza!
