The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drosen shoots for a double leg takedown but Copeland jr sprawls well. He's pushed Drosen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Copeland jr is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Drosen's half guard.

Copeland jr decides to stand up.
Drosen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Drosen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Drosen throws a right hand that Copeland jr ducks under and follows up with a left that Copeland jr also avoids with ease.

Alan Copeland jr is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Drosen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Copeland jr is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Drosen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Copeland jr's back instead.

Well Copeland jr has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
