Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Alittle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Eld (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Eld does no damage.
Eld connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Alittle fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Alittle tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Eld swivels and escapes.
Alittle closes the distance and clinches up with Eld, looking for a takedown. Alittle pushes Eld against the cage but Eld circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Alittle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Eld throws a right and a left that Alittle avoids nicely.
Eld connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Alittle showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Eld.
Eld fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alittle manages to avoid it.
Eld catches Alittle napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Alittle to the canvas!

Alittle is rocked!

It looks like Richard Alittle has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Alittle is trying to keep Eld in close.
Oh Alittle is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Eld passes Alittle's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Alittle is trying to get back to full guard.
Alittle seems to have got his legs back now.
Alittle flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Eld prevents Alittle from improving his position.
Eld really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alittle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Eld tries to pass to full mount but Alittle defends it.
Eld is taking a breather. Alittle says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Alittle is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Alittle is pressing down on Eld's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Eld tries to stand but Alittle is controlling from the bottom.

Alittle working for a triangle but Eld defends it easily.

Alittle is looking for a triangle here but Eld uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alittle manages to work his way to half guard, despite Eld's best efforts.

Alittle wants to improve his position but Eld is controlling well.
Eld seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Alittle gets full guard.
Eld stops Alittle from standing up.
Alittle is breathing heavily.

Eld decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Alittle will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Eld lands a big uppercut and Alittle crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Alittle looks OK. Eld waves Alittle back to his feet!
Eld throws a series of punches but Alittle avoids them all with ease.

Eld looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Eld lands a nice looking body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Eld throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Eld throws a monster overhand right that drops Alittle! Eld follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
