Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David HasselhON (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Python (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Python has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. David HasselhON has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brian Python!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
HasselhON tries to close the distance and clinch up but Python swats him away and circles back towards the center.
HasselhON really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Python swats away the attempt to clinch by HasselhON.
HasselhON tries to clinch up.
Python misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
HasselhON tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
HasselhON throws a head kick that misses.
HasselhON tries to clinch up but Python circles away and keeps his distance.
HasselhON throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Python shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. HasselhON manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Python throws a strike but HasselhON rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Python looks gassed!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as HasselhON accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

HasselhON postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
HasselhON forces his way into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Python is refusing to be controlled, as HasselhON sits in half guard.
HasselhON works his foot free and advances to mount.
Python is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
HasselhON looking to control but Python is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Python throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

HasselhON is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Python can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Python is bucking up trying to escape but HasselhON cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
HasselhON controlling the pace for now.
HasselhON can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Python is looking to escape.
HasselhON postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Python looks a forlorn figure.
Python really doesn't want to stay on the ground with HasselhON. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Python is squirming around, avoiding HasselhON's attempts to control the action.
Python really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
HasselhON manages to capitalize on a mistake by Python to take his back!
HasselhON has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Python's body.
HasselhON will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Python is in bad spot here.
Python is keeping busy.

HasselhON has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Python! Can he survive? No! He's out! HasselhON gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
