Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jones shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Festa is trying to defend but jones finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
jones is trying to control the action in half guard but Festa is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
jones is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Festa still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Festa has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
jones wants to get back to his feet but Festa drags him back down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
jones is looking for a sweep.
jones manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

jones is controlling the pace.
jones frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Festa tries to hold on but jones pushes him away.
Festa is in a horrible position here. jones smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
jones avoids the attempt from Festa to control.
jones wants to control the pace but Festa is squirming around nicely.
jones is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Festa can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Festa is looking to get to half guard.
jones lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
jones avoids the attempt from Festa to control.
Festa takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Festa can't escape the position.
jones working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Festa looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by jones! Submission of the night perhaps?
