Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anewt Gelato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Lennox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lennox is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The eye of the tiger. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lennox scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Lennox wants to work for an arm triangle but Gelato is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Lennox looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Lennox looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Lennox is keen to just control but Gelato is a slippery customer.
Lennox prevents Gelato from improving his position.
Gelato could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Gelato is refusing to be controlled, as Lennox sits in half guard.
Gelato trying to hold on to Lennox's head to control him but Lennox postures up.

Lennox seems to be working for a kimura but Gelato defends the submission attempt.
Lennox wants to take a breather but Gelato is having none of it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Gelato closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lennox to the mat! Lennox manages to get full guard.

Lennox escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gelato gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Lennox looks gassed!

Gelato drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Gelato as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Lennox screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Gelato! Nice submission victory there!
