Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawrence shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hansseen pinned against the cage. Hansseen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Hansseen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lawrence sprawls well initially but Hansseen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hansseen is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Lawrence is trying to maintain the position but Hansseen is very close to passing his half guard.

Hansseen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lawrence napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Hansseen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lawrence can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Hansseen is pressing down on Lawrence's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lawrence is holding on for now.

Oh but Lawrence is tightening it up a little... Hansseen has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight!
