The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yeung throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Deschain throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Bolo Yeung has been cut.
Yeung tries for a takedown but Deschain sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Yeung tries to keep at a distance but Deschain has taken the fight into the clinch.
A knee to the head by Deschain.
Deschain pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Deschain lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
The referee calls for Deschain to work.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Deschain.
Deschain connects with a nasty looking knee right to Yeung's face.
Yeung drops down looking for an ankle pick but Deschain pulls his leg out and moves away.
Yeung throws a hook to the side of Deschain's head but Deschain sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Yeung is defended easily by Deschain.
Roland Deschain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bolo Yeung.
Deschain lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yeung throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Deschain sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Deschain moves into the clinch.

Yeung tries to pull guard but Deschain won't allow it.
Yeung goes for a takedown attempt but Deschain pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Deschain ducks under a wild hook from Yeung.
The fight stays on the outside here - Deschain looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Deschain throws a head kick that Yeung semi-blocks.

That has opened up Bolo Yeung's cut even more.
Yeung shoots for a double leg takedown but Deschain sprawls well. He's pushed Yeung's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Yeung looks to score with a jab to the body but Deschain is just out of range.
Yeung looks gassed!
Deschain ducks under a wild hook from Yeung.
Deschain tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yeung swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Deschain is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Deschain lands a head kick. Yeung smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

The cut above Bolo Yeung's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Deschain clinches up with Yeung and pushes him back against the cage.
Yeung is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Deschain is keeping busy.

Yeung fails to pull guard.
Yeung wants to break the clinch but can't.
Deschain landing knees to the head.

Bolo Yeung's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Yeung goes for a takedown in the clinch but Deschain prevents it.
Deschain gets underhooks to prevent Yeung's takedown attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Yeung is trying desperately to land a takedown but Deschain is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Yeung.
