Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Markku Osteri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enrique Rizzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Osteri comes to the cage accompanied by Aino Akti - Kerrankin tarpeekseen. Enrique Rizzo acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Enrique Rizzo!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rizzo misses with a straight right.
Rizzo throws the left hand but Osteri avoids the punch easily.

Osteri closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rizzo to the mat! Rizzo manages to get full guard.
Osteri thows a big elbow that misses.
Osteri wants to pass the guard but Rizzo is keeping the position.
Osteri won't allow Rizzo to get back to his feet.

Rizzo is looking to stand up but Osteri isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Osteri is defended easily by Rizzo.

Osteri has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Rizzo.

Osteri closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Osteri misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Osteri tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Osteri has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
