The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andromalius tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nester was well out of range. Poor timing from Andromalius.
Andromalius misses with a leg kick.
Andromalius misses with a looping right.
Nester keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Andromalius shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Andromalius was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Andromalius looking to control but Nester is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Nester slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Andromalius content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Andromalius moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Nester.

Nester is looking to regain half guard here but Andromalius keeps moving and retains side control.
Nester defending against the ground and pound.

Andromalius is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nester knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Nester has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Andromalius moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Andromalius postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Andromalius is trying to get an arm triangle but Nester is defending well.
Nester is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Andromalius has just dragged him back down to the mat.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Andromalius wants to control but Nester is keeping him busy.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
