Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Astyn Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luke Johnson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Johnson throws a series of punches but Martin moves out of range.
Martin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Martin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Martin.
Johnson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Johnson wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Astyn Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Johnson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Good leg kick by Johnson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Martin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Martin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Johnson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Martin is working away from the top position though.
Martin seems to be looking for submissions.
Johnson is looking for a sweep. Martin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Martin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Johnson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Martin.

Johnson throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Martin has hold of Johnson's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Johnson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Martin cranks the arm and Johnson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Johnson, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
