Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raz Matazz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Butsy Grabber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matazz comes to the cage accompanied by Deftones - Change. Raz Matazz could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Butsy Grabber's chin.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Butsy Grabber!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grabber on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Matazz is looking to clinch.
Matazz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Grabber paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Matazz feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Grabber sprawling to the canvas! Grabber rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Matazz finish him?!

Grabber is rocked!

It looks like Butsy Grabber has been cut.
Matazz misses with a low kick.
Grabber is still on wobbly legs! Can Matazz finish him?

Grabber feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Grabber seems to have recovered his senses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Matazz wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Grabber is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Grabber tries to free his leg and advance position but Matazz is retaining full guard.
Matazz lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Grabber!

Matazz lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Matazz throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Matazz throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Grabber because Matazz loaded up on that one.

Matazz unloads with some shots from mount but Grabber bucks and avoids them well.

Matazz throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Matazz pushing down on Grabber's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Matazz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Grabber's head.
Grabber is looking to improve his position.
Grabber trying to hold on to Matazz's head to control him but Matazz postures up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Matazz.
Matazz throws a sloppy head kick and Grabber moves out of range easily.

Matazz wants to clinch up but Grabber keeps it at a distance.
Matazz tries to close the distance and clinch but Grabber swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Matazz dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Grabber. That did some damage!

Matazz cracks Grabber with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Grabber looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Matazz finish him?

Grabber uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Matazz.
Matazz pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Grabber swats away the attempt to clinch by Matazz.
Matazz tries to clinch but Grabber is having none of it.
Matazz lands with a nice body kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Matazz.
Grabber moves away from the strike by Matazz.
Matazz connects with a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Grabber avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Matazz goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Grabber on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Matazz walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Grabber checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Matazz pushes Grabber away with a front kick.
Grabber misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Matazz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Grabber paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Grabber misses with a takedown attempt - Matazz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Matazz tries to clinch but Grabber moves out of range.

Raz Matazz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Matazz lands with an uppercut that bounces Grabber off the cage and back into rage.

Grabber works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Matazz misses with an uppercut.
Matazz buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Matazz seems to be stalking Grabber here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Grabber drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
