Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daniel Dean!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dean looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Henry scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Henry has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Dean misses with a takedown attempt - Henry sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Gaiul Henry overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
