Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kalevi Sorsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tammelan Fasaani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalevi Sorsa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Kalevi Sorsa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tammelan Fasaani!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fasaani rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sorsa moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sorsa drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Sorsa chips away with some ground and pound.
Sorsa working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fasaani's head.
Fasaani wants to sweep here but Sorsa controlling him for the moment.
Sorsa has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Sorsa wants to control from the top but Fasaani keeps moving.
Fasaani doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Sorsa works over Fasaani with some ground and pound from guard.

Sorsa is nestled in close to Fasaani, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sorsa connects with a nice short shot to Fasaani's temple.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Fasaani walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Sorsa shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Sorsa looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Fasaani is looking for a sweep. Sorsa is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Fasaani is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sorsa's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sorsa's back!

Sorsa tries to escape but Fasaani has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Sorsa breaks Fasaani's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Fasaani has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fasaani wants to sweep here but Sorsa controlling him for the moment.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fasaani is on top in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fasaani wants to pass to mount but Sorsa is defending the position.
Fasaani is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sorsa is just riding it out for now. Fasaani eventually gives up the hold.
Fasaani is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Sorsa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fasaani is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Sorsa moves into full guard.
Fasaani looking to pass the guard.
Sorsa keeping moving, preventing Fasaani from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kalevi Sorsa dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Fasaani misses with the combination.
Sorsa throws out a leg kick but Fasaani moves out of range and Sorsa only half commits.
Fasaani gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Fasaani takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sorsa throws a jab when Fasaani was well out of range.
Fasaani misses with a takedown
and Sorsa counters with a series of strikes. Fasaani will be more careful next time no doubt.
Fasaani tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sorsa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fasaani somewhat.
Kalevi Sorsa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tammelan Fasaani.
Sorsa's corner calls for a 1-2. Sorsa obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Fasaani gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Fasaani is breathing heavily.
Fasaani looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sorsa connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Fasaani! He's out on his feet! Sorsa rushes in and drops Fasaani with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kalevi Sorsa!
