Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Jax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Hushing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hushing comes into a darkened arena with his song building. PAUL VAN DYK "For An Angel" kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Hushing throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hushing misses with a looping left.
Hushing throws a shot from downtown. Jax moves away and avoids it.

Jax shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Jax is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Hushing has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Hushing really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Jax is going olschool here, as he tries to force Hushing to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hushing shrugs it off.
Hushing can't escape the position.
Hushing gets back to half guard.

Jax is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Hushing still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Hushing has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Hushing throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Jax works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Hushing is pressing down on Jax's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jax is holding on for now.
Hushing is trying to control. Jax wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Hushing wants to free his trapped foot but Jax is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Hushing is looking to take a break and control but Jax is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jax fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hushing throws an overhand right that lands on Jax's shoulder, as Jax tries to avoid the shot.
Hushing misses with a hook. Jax ducked under it nicely.

Hushing gets caught flat footed, as Jax shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jax is breathing heavily.
Jax makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Jax thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hushing keeping moving, preventing Jax from controlling successfully.
Hushing has his hands on Jax's head, controlling the position.

Hushing wants to sweep but no luck.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hushing is on top in guard.

Hushing got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jax has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hushing has managed to get both his arms back between Jax's legs - danger averted.

Hushing is pushing down on Jax's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jax is fighting to maintain full guard but Hushing has managed to sneak the leg through.

Hushing lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Jax tries to hold on but Hushing pushes him away.
