PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between brad haterr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leafar Rafael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). haterr has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. brad haterr looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, brad haterr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Leafar Rafael!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rafael looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? haterr is fending him off so far but Rafael persists. Nope, haterr circles away and we're back to standing.
haterr is breathing heavily.
A head kick misses from haterr.
Rafael shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says haterr as he avoids it easily.
haterr tries to close the distance and clinch but Rafael swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
brad haterr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rafael.
brad haterr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leafar Rafael.
haterr keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
No luck for Rafael with that takedown attempt.
haterr tries to clinch up but Rafael circles away and keeps his distance.
Rafael shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts haterr as he jumps to the side.
Horrible takedown by Rafael or perhaps it was just good defense by haterr which made him look bad.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

haterr drives through and clinches with Rafael against the cage.
Rafael tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. haterr just stands there and leans against the cage.
Rafael drops to a knee looking for a takedown but haterr gets the underhooks and prevents it.
haterr tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Rafael lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of haterr backwards.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Rafael successfully pulls guard.

Rafael is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
haterr is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there.

haterr avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rafael is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rafael has a closed guard, preventing haterr from standing up.
haterr trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Rafael is trying to control the position but haterr postures up.

Rafael has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think haterr should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Rafael has tightened it up now! haterr should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
