Davies has chosen You'r Not Alone as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Evan Davies acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddel tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Liddel fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Davies, pushing him back against the cage.

Davies throws a series of punches but Liddel avoids them all with ease.
Davies lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Liddel backs up against the cage.
Liddel smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

It looks like Evan Davies has been cut.

and Davies makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Davies with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Liddel to score with a decent uppercut.
