Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexandros Nicolaou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Barbedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicolaou comes to the cage accompanied by Anubis. Barbedo has chosen Can Your Pussy Do The Dog as his entrance music. Fernando Barbedo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbedo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nicolaou pinned against the cage. Nicolaou gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Barbedo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nicolaou circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fernando Barbedo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for Barbedo with that takedown attempt.
Barbedo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nicolaou swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Good leg kick by Nicolaou there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Barbedo clinches.
A head punch on the inside from Barbedo fails to land.
Barbedo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nicolaou looks to score with a jab to the body but Barbedo is just out of range.

It looks like Fernando Barbedo has been cut.
Nicolaou lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Barbedo at a distance.
Barbedo looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Good standup being displayed there by Barbedo as he connects with a hook.
Nicolaou thuds his right hand into Barbedo's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Barbedo is rocked!
Nicolaou throws a quick inside leg kick.
Barbedo is still on wobbly legs! Can Nicolaou finish him?
Barbedo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nicolaou.
Barbedo seems to have recovered his senses.
Nicolaou drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Barbedo right on the button. Barbedo goes down! Nicolaou follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Nicolaou gets the win via TKO!
