Daniels comes into the arena with Kung Fu Fighting blaring out of the sound system. San Cou has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Daniels connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Cou's hands.
A telegraphed right hand from Daniels misses the target.

Cou has closed the distance and engaged Daniels in a clinch.
Daniels wants to break the clinch but can't.

Cou breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cou misses with a low kick.
Cou wants to clinch up but Daniels keeps it at a distance.
Cou with a jab.
Daniels tries to bum rush Cou with a series of wild strikes but Cou uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Daniels throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Daniels throws a wild body kick that Cou sees coming a mile off.
Cou listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Daniels throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cou stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Daniels.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Daniels is looking to slow Cou down with leg kicks.

Cou moves into the clinch successfully.
Daniels prevents a takedown attempt there.
Cou looks gassed!
A looping hook to the body misses from Daniels. Cou does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cou takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Cou throws a body kick the misses

and Daniels counters with a head kick that drops Cou!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Daniels stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Daniels lands a brutal head kick. Cou looks out on his feet and Daniels throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
