Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Flett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Everything in its right place- Radio Head. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee closes this distance looking for a takedown but Flett circles away.

Flett darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Flett seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Flett missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Lee wants to improve his position but Flett is controlling well.
Lee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Flett is working away from the top position though.
Flett not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Lee tries to roll over but Flett keeps him under control.
Flett is keen to just control but Lee is a slippery customer.

Flett is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lee doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Flett.
Flett throwing shots but Lee is blocking nicely.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Flett lands with an uppercut that bounces Lee off the cage and back into rage.
Lee has his takedown stuffed

and Flett counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lee's guard now.
Lee wants to sweep here but Flett controlling him for the moment.
Lee is working hard here to advance position.
Flett throwing strikes but missing.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee controls Flett momentarily but Flett frees himself.
Lee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Flett's guard.
Lee throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Flett is trying to control the position but Lee postures up.

Lee looking to sit in guard and control but Flett gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Flett wants to pass the guard but Lee is keeping the position.
Flett postures up and lands a big shot to Lee's brow.

Flett has gone for a leg lock! Lee slips out almost immediately though and dives into Flett's guard.
Lee seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Leeis looking to pass into half guard but Flett pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Flett is in guard.

Lee has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Flett doesn't defend quickly enough and Lee has managed to lock this one up! Can Flett escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Lee on a fantastic submission victory.
