Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Martiz!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Martiz.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Martiz scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Martiz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Singh with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Singh lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Martiz postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Singh looks a forlorn figure.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Singh is looking to get to half guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Martiz cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Singh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Martiz manages to get his head free but now Singh has transitioned to an armbar! Martiz grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Singh! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
