The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steiner tries to clinch but Maia is having none of it.
Steiner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Maia as he avoids it easily.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Maia.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Steiner is trying to improve his position.

Maia is nestled in close to Steiner, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
