The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duath fails with an attempt to clinch.
Duath looks for a takedown but Chase sprawls well.

Chase looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Duath!
Duath tries to lock up and control but Chase gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Duath is desperately trying to improve his position but Chase has a good base and remains in mount.

Chase looking for a guillotine from mount but Duath is having none of it.

Chase tries to control but Duath wriggling away.

Chase is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Duath has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Duath!

Duath prevents Chase from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Duath pushing down on Chase's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Chase tries to roll over but Duath keeps him under control.
Chase looks gassed!
Duath lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Chase is trying to stand up here but Duath is controlling him well.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Duath lands a nice short elbow.
Duath passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Chase!
Duath prevents Chase from getting the reversal.

Duath looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Duath has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Chase's face.
Duath is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Chase can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Duath has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
