Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Highes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Kirkovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Highes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Skynyrd's Simple Man. Kirkovich has chosen Crazy Autotune as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Vladimir Kirkovich has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirkovich shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Highes wants to get back to full guard.
Still in half guard, Kirkovich seems content to control.

Kirkovich tries to lock up and control but Highes gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Highes shoots in and bounces Kirkovich off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Highes throws a strike but Kirkovich rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Highes is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Highes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kirkovich can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Highes looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Kirkovich has picked Highes up and slammed him! Highes can't keep hold of the triangle and Kirkovich manages to pass to side control!

Kirkovich is posturing up here but Highes has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Kirkovich tries to roll out but it's too tight and Kirkovich has to tap! Slick submission there by Highes!
