Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frank Miiir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Miiir gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Miiir has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jones uses from the top position.

Miiir closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

That was a close round but I would say that Frank Miiir will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Miiir throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jones was covering up waiting for the punch and Miiir finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jones controls Miiir momentarily but Miiir frees himself.
Miiir has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Miiir kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Miiir is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jones has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Miiir is looking to defend but Jones has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Miiir! Jones pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Miiir taps out and this one is all over!
