Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Razor Ramone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramone comes into the arena with Go to sleep blaring out of the sound system. Jackson has chosen Run This Town as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jackson.

Ramone shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jackson is trying to defend but Ramone finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Ramone has hold of Jackson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jackson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Ramone swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jackson is now in Ramone's guard. A big mistake from Ramone there, giving up the dominant position!

Ramone isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jackson stacks Ramone on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jackson!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jackson is trying to drag Ramone to the mat but Ramone just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Ramone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jackson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jackson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Ramone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jackson but Jackson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Razor Ramone. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ramone tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jackson just stands there and leans against the cage.

Ramone has picked Jackson up - he's going for a ride! Ramone dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
