The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akira throws a lazy right hand but Peck sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Peck looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Akira gets a takedown into half guard.

Akira is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Peck is just riding it out for now. Akira eventually gives up the hold.

Akira is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Akira closes the distance and clinches up with Peck, looking for a takedown. Akira pushes Peck against the cage but Peck circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Akira connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Peck will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Peck decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Akira's guard.

Peck stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Akira swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Akira is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Peck defends well.
