Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between charly bronsan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Bicket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bicket throws a wild body kick that bronsan sees coming a mile off.
bronsan has a takedown stuffed.
A head kick misses from bronsan.

Bicket scores with a takedown into bronsan's guard.
Bicket wants to control from the top but bronsan keeps moving.
Bicket stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. bronsan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

bronsan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bicket can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Bicket should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bicket wants to sweep but bronsan has passed to side control!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bicket lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
bronsan is breathing heavily.
bronsan looks to land a body kick but Bicket moved away.
Bicket shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. bronsan defends it nicely.

bronsan fails with an attempt to clinch.

bronsan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bicket napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Bicket tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but bronsan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Bicket has one of bronsan's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Bicket can't do much from the bottom here.
Bicket is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but bronsan is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
bronsan blocks Bicket's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
bronsan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bicket looks a forlorn figure.

A close round but Kyle Bicket will probably get the nod.

bronsan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bicket controls the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bicket slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Bicket really doesn't want to stay on the ground with bronsan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bicket stands up and beckons bronsan to join him on the feet.

Bicket has bronsan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. bronsan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Bicket has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. bronsan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

charly bronsan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyle Bicket.

bronsan has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bicket uses from the top position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kyle Bicket showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
