Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Zerynchuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Jee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jee is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Get The Funk Out Of My Face. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vladimir Zerynchuk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Karl Jee!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jee catches Zerynchuk with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!


It looks like Vladimir Zerynchuk has been cut.

Zerynchuk tries to keep at a distance but Jee has taken the fight into the clinch.
Zerynchuk is trying to break the clinch but Jee is controlling him.
Zerynchuk is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Jee tries to break the clinch but Zerynchuk is controlling the position.
Jee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Jee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jee in particular looking to stall.

Zerynchuk isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jee stacks Zerynchuk on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jee!

Zerynchuk looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jee is one step ahead there.
Jee has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Zerynchuk is proving hard to escape from.

Zerynchuk has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jee wants to get up but he can't break Zerynchuk's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Jee is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Zerynchuk wants to sweep but no luck.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jee misses with the combination.

Jee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Jee is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Jee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Jee drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Vladimir Zerynchuk.
Well Jee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
