Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randy Petting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Hoppe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Viktor Hoppe has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Randy Petting!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Viktor Hoppe!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petting displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hoppe.
Hoppe looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Hoppe gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Petting pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hoppe is keeping the position for now.

Petting drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Petting jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hoppe is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Hoppe looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Petting stands and throws Hoppe's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Petting tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Petting has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Hoppe tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Petting wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Petting is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Hoppe is trying to escape and Petting transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Hoppe is forced to tap! Nice work there by Petting! Very nice indeed!
