The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lancaster is looking to clinch but Gracie is avoiding it.
Lancaster wants to clinch.
Lancaster lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Gracie tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Lancaster lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Lancaster tries to clinch up but Gracie circles away and keeps his distance.
Lancaster is looking to clinch but Gracie is avoiding it.
Gracie stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lancaster.

Lancaster moves in looking to clinch but Gracie pushes him off.

Lancaster feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gracie's calf.
Gracie shoots in and bounces Lancaster off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Gracie decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lancaster, up you get!

Gracie tries to pull guard but Lancaster holds him up against the cage and eventually Gracie drops back down to his feet.

Lancaster wanted to stand there but Gracie had control of the position.

Gracie has his foot on Lancaster's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lancaster works his way back into a safe position though.
Lancaster has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gracie is proving hard to escape from.
Gracie had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lancaster is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gracie Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lancaster's back instead.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lancaster tries to clinch but Gracie is having none of it.
Gracie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Gracie not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Gracie scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Lancaster is trying to stand up here but Gracie is controlling him well.
Lancaster is trying to escape back to his feet but Gracie uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Gracie misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Lancaster is pushing Gracie's head away, looking to escape. Gracie manages to hold on to the position though.

Gracie postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Rodney Gracie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
