The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kausch was covering up waiting for the punch and Peterson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Kausch is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kausch looking for a sweep. Not yet Kausch, not yet.
Kausch pulls Peterson in close to prevent any damage.
Kausch is looking for a triangle but Peterson pushes his legs off easily.
Kausch is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Peterson frees his head nicely. Oh but Kausch has switched to an armbar! Peterson is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
