Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elion Mamumbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mir comes to the cage accompanied by Spoilin For A Fight . Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Elion Mamumbo!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamumbo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mir momentarily.

It looks like Frank Mir has been cut.

Mir pushes Mamumbo up against the cage in a clinch.
Mir stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Mamumbo misses with some punches.
Mamumbo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mir just stands there and leans against the cage.
Mir misses with a knee strike.
Mir drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mamumbo pulls his leg out and moves away.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mamumbo has a takedown stuffed.
Mir moves out of range as Mamumbo strikes.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mamumbo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mir has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mir and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Mir counters with a good low kick that Mamumbo was not able to check.

and Mir counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Mir is working for takedown but Mamumbo is calmly controlling the position for now.
Mamumbo goes for a takedown in the clinch but Mir prevents it.
Frank Mir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Elion Mamumbo.

Mir lands an elbow inside.

Mir turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Mir manages to end up in side control.

Mir lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Mir tries to control but Mamumbo wriggling away.

Mir is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Mamumbo has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Mamumbo manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Mir blocks the strikes from Mamumbo.
Mir lands with a punch from half guard.

Mamumbo tries to roll over but Mir keeps him under control.
Mir frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Mamumbo is working to get back to half guard.

Mamumbo tries to improve his position but Mir has taken his back! Mir has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Mamumbo tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Mir pushes Mamumbo away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
