Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry McCoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tanishk Soni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoy looks for a takedown but Soni sprawls well.
McCoy fails with a takedown attempt.
McCoy shoots in and drives through. Soni sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harry McCoy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A slapping leg kick lands for McCoy.
McCoy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Soni will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Soni tries for a takedown but McCoy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

A jab lands there for Soni.

McCoy looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
McCoy is breathing heavily.

McCoy tries to land a sweep but no joy.
McCoy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Soni's guard.

McCoy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
McCoy looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Soni won't allow McCoy to sweep him here.

McCoy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

McCoy manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Soni is squirming around, avoiding McCoy's attempts to control the action.

That was a close round but I would say that Harry McCoy will probably get the nod.

Soni shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McCoy but McCoy pushes him off and we're back to square one.
McCoy throws a combination that misses

and Soni counters by moving into the clinch.
Soni tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
McCoy is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Soni pulls him back up using the underhooks.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Soni utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McCoy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Soni but Soni pushes him off and we're back to square one.
McCoy avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
McCoy throws a head kick that misses.

Soni changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McCoy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
McCoy is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Soni has just dragged him back down to the mat.
McCoy looks to move to half guard but instead Soni has passed into mount! Damn!
McCoy is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
McCoy is working hard here to advance position.

McCoy wants to control but Soni is having none of it.
McCoy tries to reverse the position but Soni maintains control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
McCoy tries to get back to half guard but can't.
McCoy wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

McCoy is trying to get back to his feet but Soni has full control of the position and if anything, McCoy has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Soni is not going to allow McCoy to sit and survive in this position.

Tanishk Soni showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! McCoy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

McCoy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McCoy stuffs the takedown.
McCoy moves in looking to clinch but Soni pushes him off.
Soni throws a leg kick but McCoy moved away.
Soni throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck McCoy on the side of the head.
Soni shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McCoy pinned against the cage. McCoy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Soni moves into the clinch successfully.

McCoy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Soni lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as McCoy backs up against the cage.
Soni connects with the punch.
McCoy stuffs the takedown attempt from Soni. Soni gets slowly back to his feet.

McCoy throws a low kick but Soni avoids it.

Soni darts in and clinches McCoy up against the cage.
Soni throws a knee to the head but misses.
Soni wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but McCoy has him pressed against the cage.

McCoy misses with a short punch on the inside.

McCoy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McCoy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Soni fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McCoy, pushing him back against the cage.
McCoy lands with a short punch from the clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Soni is pressed up against the cage. McCoy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Soni down to the mat. Soni avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Soni moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Nice sprawl there from Soni as McCoy shoots in.

Soni closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Soni lands in his opponent's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
McCoy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
McCoy wants to control but Soni is keeping him busy.
Soni regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from McCoy.
McCoy trying to control but Soni is working from the bottom.
McCoy working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Soni's head.
McCoy wants to control from the top but Soni keeps moving.

Tanishk Soni comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Soni has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
