Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anima looks to land a right hand but Sinistra moved out of range.
Sinistra fails with an attempt to clinch.

Sinistra closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sinistra working the ground and pound but Anima is defending the strikes.
Anima is trying to improve his position.
Sinistra is looking to take a break and control but Anima is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Sinistra wants to control for a moment but Anima uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Anima thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sinistra's head.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Anima has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sinistra finds it's way round the side to connect with Anima's head.

It looks like Brandon Sinistra has been cut.

Sinistra tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Anima throws a jab when Sinistra was well out of range.
A decent looking cross lands there for Sinistra.
Sinistra misses with a body shot.
Anima lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Sinistra sprawling to the canvas. Anima follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Sinistra hang on?

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sinistra wants to control but Anima is keeping busy.
Anima prevents Sinistra from improving his position.
Anima working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Sinistra throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Anima looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Sinistra wants to control but Anima is keeping busy.

Anima is trying to control the action in half guard but Sinistra is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sinistra is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Anima thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Sinistra is looking to improve his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Sinistra moves in looking to clinch but Anima pushes him off.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Anima lands a left and a right that sends Sinistra crashing to the canvas! Anima dives into mount looking to finish!
Sinistra is still in real trouble! Can Anima finish him?
Sinistra looks gassed!

Sinistra is in all sorts of trouble here.
Sinistra seems to have recovered his senses.
Sinistra is bucking up trying to escape but Anima cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Anima swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Sinistra is now in Anima's guard. A big mistake from Anima there, giving up the dominant position!
Sinistra wants to control from the top but Anima keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Anima bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sinistra's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Anima displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sinistra.
Brandon Sinistra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Anima moves into the clinch.
Anima lands a body punch in the clinch.
Sinistra looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Anima lands a hook to the side of the head.
Sinistra managing to block the knees to the body from Anima.
Anima trying to stall but Sinistra improves his position.
Anima lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Anima escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Anima slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Anima sends Sinistra crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Anima is motioning to the referee to let Sinistra up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Sinistra is breathing heavily.
Anima lands a jab to Sinistra's midsection.
A solid leg kick lands there for Anima.
Anima drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Sinistra's head, knocking him out cold! Anima is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
