Owens comes to the cage accompanied by Disturbed- Inside the Fire. Blade has chosen For Whom the Bell Tolls as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roman Owens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Blade!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owens tries to clinch up but Blade circles away and keeps his distance.
Owens misses with a jab, cross combination.
Blade lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Owens backs up against the cage.
Owens scores with a nice right hand.
Blade lands a left and a right that sends Owens crashing to the canvas! Blade dives into mount looking to finish!

Owens is rocked!
Owens flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Oh Owens is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Owens bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Owens trying to move into half guard but instead Blade has managed to sweep!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Blade gets to his feet. Owens looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Owens seems to have got his legs back now.
Owens dodges the punch combination from Blade.
Blade blocks a head kick by Owens.
Blade throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Owens throws a left and a right that both miss
and Blade counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Owens misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Blade pushes Owens away with a front kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Owens doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Blade scores with a counter punch that sends Owens to the canvas! Blade smells blood - he's punishing Owens with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Owens has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
