Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keith Roylance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Candy Cakes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Keith Roylance!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Candy Cakes!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roylance shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cakes as he avoids it easily.
Candy Cakes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Roylance has hold of Cakes's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Cakes manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Roylance is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cakes can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Cakes wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roylance drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Roylance jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Cakes is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Roylance defends well.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cakes has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Roylance is proving hard to escape from.

Roylance escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cakes gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close round but I would say that Keith Roylance will probably get the nod.

Cakes seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cakes can do anything to dispel that myth.

Roylance has gone for a leg lock! Cakes slips out almost immediately though and dives into Roylance's guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
