Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bodalicious Smithers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Lovin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lovin has chosen Legend Of Zelda as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lovin lands with an overhand left.

Lovin tries to clinch but Smithers moves out of range.

Lovin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Smithers manages to get himself to full guard.

Lovin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Smithers defends it well.

Smithers is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lovin uses his free foot to push down on Smithers's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Smithers.

Lovin is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Smithers has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Smithers tries to lock up and control but Lovin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lovin goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Smithers turns into him and now he's in Lovin's guard.

Lovin manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Smithers wants to clinch but Lovin slips to the side
and Lovin counters with a good low kick that Smithers was not able to check.

Smithers rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lovin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Lovin tries to grapple but his opponent circles
