Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Emannuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Melo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emannuel comes to the cage accompanied by Lado B Lado A. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emannuel tries to land a front kick but Melo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Melo closes the distance and clinches up with Emannuel, looking for a takedown. Melo pushes Emannuel against the cage but Emannuel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Emannuel looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Melo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
