The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mongkut sprawls well. Mongkut wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Green gets slowly back to his feet.
Green tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mongkut sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Green somewhat.

Green changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mongkut tries to avoid it but Green manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mongkut to the ground. Mongkut escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mongkut feints and then cracks Green's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Green down.

Mongkut fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Green manages to avoid it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Mongkut really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Green. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mongkut is pushing Green's head away, looking to escape. Green manages to hold on to the position though.

Green is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Mongkut is trying to escape and Green transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Mongkut is forced to tap! Nice work there by Green! Very nice indeed!
