The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Big Ben shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Laraque defends it nicely.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Big Ben, right into the meat.
Big Ben throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Big Ben ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Laraque moves away.
Big Ben connects with a crisp jab.
Big Ben dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Laraque. That did some damage!

Laraque gets the takedown into side control.
Big Ben is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Big Ben could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Big Ben tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Laraque wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Laraque looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Big Ben with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Laraque is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Big Ben sees it coming and defends easily.
