The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brophy circles away quickly and effectively.
Thompson misses with a hook. Brophy ducked under it nicely.
Thompson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Thompson throws a jab when Brophy was well out of range.
Thompson loads up on a big right hand but Brophy slips the punch.
Jet Thompson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Thompson, as that shot connected.

Thompson drops Brophy with a beautiful combination! Brophy stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Thompson is looking for the KO!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thompson fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Brophy out cold! Brutal finish!
