Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stafford Alois (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Carson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alois kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Promised Land. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alois gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Carson shoots in but Alois avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Carson circles away from the clinch attempt.

Alois pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Alois jumps guard and drags Carson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Alois not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Alois manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Carson manages to get himself to full guard.

Alois decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Alois tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Carson misses the shot to the body.
Carson walks into a left hand.
Alois pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Alois throws a front kick aimed at Carson's knee but Carson avoids it well.
Carson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Carson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alois swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Alois is pushing Carson's head away, looking to escape. Carson manages to hold on to the position though.

Alois is not content to let Carson control the position.
Carson working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Carson tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Carson lands a jab-cross combination.

Alois connects with a good right hand that stumbles Carson. Carson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Carson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Alois's waist but Alois gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Carson off to one side.
Stafford Alois has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Carson.

Alois throws a sloppy head kick and Carson moves out of range easily.
Carson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Alois sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Carson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Alois connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Carson to the floor! Alois dives in looking for the finish!

Alois is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Carson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Alois.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Alois gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Nice takedown defense from Alois. No joy for Carson on that attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Carson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Alois is fending him off so far but Carson persists. Nope, Alois circles away and we're back to standing.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Carson tries to pull guard but Alois holds him up against the ropes and eventually Carson drops back down to his feet.

Carson misses with a takedown attempt - Alois sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Carson shoots in looking for a takedown. Alois tries to sprawl out of it but Carson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Alois manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stafford Alois has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Carson.
Alois leaves Carson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alois goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Carson is breathing heavily.
Alois Rushes Carson and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Carson is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Alois Piles on the pressure and Carson crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
