The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Smchalenko or perhaps it was just good defense by Sanchez which made him look bad.

Smchalenko closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sanchez to the mat! Sanchez manages to get full guard.
Smchalenko won't allow Sanchez to get back to his feet.
Sanchez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smchalenko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Smchalenko is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Smchalenko wants to pass the guard but Sanchez is keeping the position.

Smchalenko thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Sanchez cracks Smchalenko with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A left and a right from Sanchez both land. Nice combination.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Sanchez scores with a sloppy right hand. Smchalenko should have avoided that one.
Smchalenko shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sanchez sprawls well. Sanchez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Smchalenko gets slowly back to his feet.

Smchalenko shoots for a takedown but Sanchez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Sanchez scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Oh Smchalenko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Sanchez lands a hook that stumbles Smchalenko back into the cage. Sanchez follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Smchalenko to the canvas! Sanchez pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Smchalenko has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
