Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Keith Elliott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murphy MacManus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Keith Elliott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Murphy MacManus!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elliott tries to clinch but MacManus moves out of range.
Elliott changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. MacManus tries to avoid it but Elliott manages to keep hold of a leg and drag MacManus to the ground. MacManus escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
MacManus uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Elliott.

Elliott decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
MacManus won't allow Elliott to pass to mount.
MacManus tries to get to full guard but Elliott has control of the leg.
MacManus trying to hold on to Elliott's head to control him but Elliott postures up.
MacManus misses with some strikes from the bottom.
MacManus tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
MacManus has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Elliott is working away from the top position though.

MacManus looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
MacManus is looking for a sweep. Elliott is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Elliott closes the distance and clinches up with MacManus, looking for a takedown. Elliott pushes MacManus against the cage but MacManus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Elliott throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around MacManus's waist but MacManus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Elliott off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keith Elliott. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A combination from MacManus does no damage.
Elliott tries to clinch up.

MacManus tries to clinch but Elliott is having none of it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

MacManus is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Elliott lands a left hand.

Elliott gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Elliott decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
MacManus pulls out of a head kick attempt.

MacManus drops Elliott with a beautiful combination! Elliott stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - MacManus is looking for the KO!

It looks like Keith Elliott has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
MacManus looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Elliott is rocked!
MacManus throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Elliott counters by clinching up.
MacManus trying to control the position but instead, Elliott has worked for underhooks and has pushed MacManus into the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
MacManus is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage.
MacManus fails to pull the fight into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Keith Elliott's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

MacManus grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Elliott takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! MacManus cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
